ROCKY BROWN SAVANNAS
We are not full-time or large-scale goat producers. Instead, we started our venture by purchasing seven exceptional does from Superior Savanna's, enabling my daughters to showcase a rare and unique breed. Our primary goal is not centered around winning competitions, but rather to educate people about the distinctive qualities of this breed. Currently, I am a passionate advocate for small ruminants and their importance in agriculture. My daughters have been heavily involved in 4-H, actively participating in showing sheep and horses for many years. Last year, they took the exciting step of starting to show purebred Savanna goats, and in doing so, they have managed to educate judges about the impressive characteristics of this breed. We have successfully kidded out two kidding crops and have genuinely loved getting to know the vibrant personalities of our does and bucks. Though we may be small operators in the world of goats, we have a firm belief in the power of quality genetics. Thanks to Superior Savanna's, we have been well-equipped for success with strong, resilient does and breeding potential.
