TNT SAVANNAS
Hi, we are Tom and Tina Waller, and it's a pleasure to introduce ourselves! With a deep-rooted farming background, we tied the knot in 1981, embarking on an incredible journey together. Over the years, we have raised just about every critter imaginable, alongside our three wonderful children who have always been an integral part of our agricultural adventures. In our earlier years, we managed a sizable acreage devoted to row crops while simultaneously breeding and raising a wide variety of livestock, including beef cattle, farrow-to-finish hogs, sheep, and goats. Additionally, we provided custom harvesting and grain hauling services to our community.
After dedicating over 30 years to the teaching profession, Tina decided it was time for her to retire, and a few years later, she encouraged me to follow suit. I made the decision to step away from the OEM Machine Building and Systems Integration Business that we had established and operated for nearly 20 years. Initially, I expressed a desire for engagement in something productive, as I didn't want to simply sit around without purpose. And she ensured that I had something meaningful to focus on! Thus, TNT Savannas was born, marking the start of an exciting new chapter in our lives.
Nestled in the picturesque Prairie River Basin in Branch County, Michigan, we have carefully and thoughtfully built our foundation herd, focusing on outstanding proven genetics with a clear vision for our DNA Certified Herd. Similar to other dedicated breeders in the field, our mission is to produce top-quality Fullblood, Purebred, and Percentage goats tailored for both Breeding Stock and Commercial use.
Throughout this rewarding venture, we have crossed paths with many incredible individuals from near and far, who we now proudly consider family and good friends. We are truly grateful for the willingness of our "Savanna Family" to lend a helping hand, whether they are seasoned veterans or newcomers venturing into the industry. Our primary focus remains steadfast on preserving and enhancing the remarkable genetic traits that contribute to making the South African Savanna Goat an invaluable asset within the meat industry.
